That said, my ALE line on my AT89C51ED2 seems to be ringing quite badly, when running 1mip or 5 mips. Ringing on ALE can be seen when having too much capacitive load on the ports, and when wronlgy using the osci-probe: Take the spring contact shown here (red arrow pointing on it) as ground connection to avoid probe ringing: Kai |
