#105695 - Specifications
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Neat. What does it do now ?
I'd like to do the same for the Landrover.

Thanks Steve,
EveryTime I ran on the street at nights I will have Tails and people keep up driving by my side looking at my digital dash ! Did you ever saw These Autometer gauges in Fast & Furious.People get these installed on their cars for over $200 here.I started to think about producing my dash as a commercial product and that was the time that patenting came to my mind.I could predict that I can sell this up to $400.It is about more than 6 months after patenting but I didn't started to design the commercial version yet.Prolem is that production procedure is costy and risky !e.g. plastic boxes need a mould were it could cost me up to $5000.

All of the gauges are now interfaced . RPM,Speed,Battery,Water Temp,Fuel.Generator failure,Oil pressure warning.

About the Temp sensor ! :
Guess what ? i just designed my own sensor .I drilled a 9mm Hole into the defective old water teno gauge.I placed a LM35 and a SMT160 there.currently I am using the LM35 to measure the temp !

There is a Relay board which controlls all of the vehicle's electrical stuff.eveything is being controlled by this board even the flasher and the Starter.
There are possiblities to set a timer to start the car automatically. After engine fired (this is done by some different feedbacks such as RPM) and warmed up it will start the blower to warm up the cabin, So you can get to the warmed car.
The is a Password protection system which will disable power to the ignition system if somebody moves the vehicle without entering password.

I've bought a powerfull RF ASK transmitter module(Aurel) with min. 26dbm and a receiver module with down to -111dbm sensitivity about one year ago,But I was lazy to start to work with them.I expect minimum 1 KM of sight by these. These will add more features such as remote starting and maybe someday remote driving !:D
And to make it on topic ;) this is an 8051 powered system. It uses AT89S52.The poor thing just ran out of any free I/O pin.

I woud be delighted to see how would you gonna design yours. With 7Segs?
