On positive note though, I'm pleased to read that Steve analysed his West controller and found it to be based on an 8052 MPU, so I'm doing one thing right by choosing the 8051 rather than the other two available MPU platforms. Anyhow, thanks to Andy and Steve(and others) for replying to my thread, I will be around from time to time, Thanks everyone. JA Open source it, do a nice webpage and sell the bits as a kit. There are several open source hardware things out there with the same business model. Steve |
