It isn't the brand or architecture of the processor that matters. It is the skill you have interfacing and programming the selected chip that will matter. There are no "right" processor. Just a number of bad processors. As long as the availability is good and the processor price doesn't adversely affect the end price of the product, you will be able to use just about anything you can lay your hands on. |
