#170182 - Google as a resource? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Picture yourself as a student who is trying to understand random numbers AND 805x assembler. Now go to Google and search for "pseudo-random numbers." I got over 72,000 hits! "pseudo-random numbers"+8051 brought it down to 293, and all entries on the first page looked rather useless except for the first entry.
We've seen engineering students are pressed for time, and may not be able to look at all the other 292 entries if the first wasn't applicable. We've also seen what translation software does -- what happens with a technical subject like PRNG? -- I shudder to think what it would look like! I really find the Karma points to be less than helpful -- after all they are somebody's opinion of the post. As someone said, if you think it's a "Reel Dumm" (c) question, ignore it. --Rich |
