#170178 - Still extrapolating Responding to: ???'s previous message |

You are still taking people as fools ? I would make a comment, if someone looks at a persons black car, and deduces that the owner of the car dislikes red cars. There are millions of web sites on this world. Not all of them have forums. Google (or links from other forums) may point at information on any random web site. Deducing that a person just has to know - or be interested in - a forum on the site just because they have seen some linked material on the site is a big extrapolation. You ass-u-me that the person had spent time reading posts on this forum without having been registered. Why not ass-u-me that the same person might have spent time reading posts on the other forum without having been registered? Because you prefer the ass-u-me that could be extrapolated into the conclusion that the person is AFRAID of this forum. Ap Charles said:
But in present case this person freshly joins other forum(Not related to 8051) to ask about that ? avoiding a DEDICATED 8051 forum . Even if I have seen such a question on DEDICATED 8051 forum ,or the OP being a member of other common electronics forum and asking it there, I would never had raised the issue. I see that the user has registered and created a thread in a forum with about 40000 threads relating to electronics. I don't think I'm stretching my imagination too much if I think it possible that the user may have already spent time reading other threads on that forum. Potentially for a long time. I have done a lot of PIC programming. I have never registered to any PIC-specific forum. I have done a lot of PPC programming. I have never registered to any PPC-specific forum. I have done a lot of ... In many cases, it is better to be a member of a general-purpose electronics forum since the datasheets for a processor normally enough to handle any processor-specific problems. It is often more interesting to discuss how to implement a battery charger, multiplexed LED sign, ... without locking down the implementation to a specific chip. Why is it so impossible for you to think that the person may just have been very comfortable with the other forum after having been a long-time lurker there? There may be a large number of reasons for someone to register to a specific forum. Yes, fear could have been one. But you don't suggest that the person might have feared this forum. You say that it is a fact that the user is AFRAID of this forum. That really is a very silly extrapolation. |
