Microsoft is pushing 64-bit machines for a simple reason.
Their OS is very bloated. They can't get 32-bit machines to work well, since 4GB doesn't leave much memory for any applications after Windows have taken its share. every computer manufcturer is trying to get a "green" label attached to their products, then comes Microsoft and tells them to add power consumption to support their bloated OS. it is about time the environmentalists get on Microsofts case Erik |
