Since you own a valid license for Windows XP, you can probably buy a newer notebook, remove the current OS, perhaps best by swapping out the fixed disk, which then will still "be there" when you need it and can swap 'em.
You then take your old Windows XP install CD/DVD and install it on the blank HD, and use it to your heart's content. IF there get to be service issues, or you want to sell the thing off, you can reinstall the original HDD, and away you go. RE |
