You are still so very unfocused so it hurts.
On one hand, you say the tool isn't worth more than $0.01 (the professional edition that is a superset of the free version). On the other hand you say things like: bEAGLE is OK for those small two-layer projects that the demo version does. - any program that is OK for small two-layer projects is worth more than $0.01. And the Pro edition is not limited to small two-layer projects, so must be worth more. [...]to do the one thing that bEAGLE does reasonably well. How can a program that can do reasonable will with routing not be worth more than $0.01. I've already pointed out that, of the benefits offered by bEAGLE, it's the auto-router that offers the most. Sounds quite good for a program you don't think is worth more than $0.01. I obtained and attempted to use the full-up bEAGLE, and, while I found the 2-layer "freebie" version adequate and worth its price, I didn't feel the same way about the "whole magilla" So if the free edition can be seen as adequate then the pro edition must also be adequate for same projects. And hence worth more than $0.01. You just have a big problem focusing on your arguments. You turn around and argue in any random direction. But why continue to discuss your dislike for Eagle-CAD? Don't you think you have already managed to convey that you don't like it? Spending too much time focusing on how much you dislike it just destroys the value of this thread since it gets too much noise. |
