"IIC, IIRC is the same as I2C" - is that confusing or what?
do you remember the udderly stupid T2L that someone tried to introduce for TTL (I know how to spell utterly, but T2L is bovine) Thus IIC is sanitized I2C whereas IIRC is supposed to mean "If I Reacll Correctly" However, I would support banning all non-techincal abbreviations i.e. I write "If I Reacll Correctly" (not really, I write "to the best of my recollection"), not 'IIRC' but would not like a requirement to write "microFarad" Erik |
