I agree with Andy and Erik, and I love Linux, but not necessarily want to use it, simply because of lack of many tools.
How many people dared to install RedHat Linux until v7.0 rolled out? how many people get acquainted with Linux and started to praise the same, until many "Live Linux" or CD-bootable versions came to existence? This is not a war between Win and Linux, but usability to a common person is of prime importance. Ubuntu is a great flavor of Linux though! Coming back, Jeff, did you happen to use Avast antivirus and Zone alarm personal firewall? Both of them run in Windows OS, and completely free for personal and home usage. Spam or virus or network attack? -> I dint encounter any single incident in past two years of usage! Long live both Windows and Linux, Vignesh |
