When the MCU "sees" an active reset on its input, it generates an active reset output for a presecribed period. If the MAX1232 is driving the RESET pin too, doesn't that create a combinatorial loop? Isn't there a risk of latching in the reset state?
I don't blame you for ignoring the internal watchdog, but the internal brownout protection is generally not going to allow you to disable it. I don't doubt that there's a way, however, but why would you want to do that? RE |
