#112735 - reed relayrs Responding to: ???'s previous message |
When I ran the maintenance department in a photo lab about 1974 we had some kodak printers that used special reed relays. Some had a small magnet on the reed to reduce contact bounce. If I recall correctly the coil was reverse pulsed to drop the contact. Others had an auxilliary hold winding in series with the contacts and used circuit current to maintain closure. The thing that I remember most about them was the high price. Terry |
