 		 #111248 - inrush current + suitable voltage sour
Hello all,
i need to test a reed switch for its ability to with stand the in rush current when using lamp load.
The lamp load needs 12VDC/ 3.5W
Iam using a micro (with suitable driver circuit) to ON/OFF the switch at regular periods.
But i am unaware of the amount of inrush current that could be obtained by connecting a lamp load of such rating. hance not clear of selecting a suitable voltage source that is capable of sourcing in the initial inrush current conditions.
I need to test 10 switchs parallely.
comments on the inrush current phenomena and a suitable voltage source would be helpful.
