With hope you would consider my post, here iam asking few doubts from the constant current source circuit posted by you as a suggestion to drive a lamp load.

Iam unable to traceout the use of the 2 general purpose diodes LL4148. can i know why its used?

Secondly, i would like to know why the collector of BD135 is connected to the shift register 74HCT597 with a 10K resistor.
couldn't find what purpose does it serve since i could see no inputs at 74HCT597.
