First moment resistance is about 8.8 times smaller, so about 8 Ohm. As L/R forms the time constant of turn-on delay and as time constant of inrush situation is about 20msec, as it can be seen here, an inductance of at least L = 20msec x 8 Ohm = 160mH would be needed. Unfortunately, a choke of 160mH withstanding a DC current of 170mA would be huge! Kai |
