why did you not say so. would using a reed switch for such an application (after providing the necessary inrush current control so that the current flow is well with in the limits) would prove worthless? If you limit the inrush to the rating of the switch, no testing is required (provided the data for the switch is correct). The above does not make sense, I read "do you need to test when the current is limited to the rating of the switch?" Erik |
