The connection between supply caps and Vcc pin of CD4060 needs to be as short as possible. So, making it longer is not a suited option.
The output signal of CD4060, on the other hand, runs into a 39k resistor and so flowing current is much smaller than supply current of CD4060. This means, that output signal of CD4060 can run along a longer copper trace. Why not doing it like this? Kai |
