I do not always precisely recollect when I did whatever :)

so change "~15 years ago" to "a good while ago"

But I would not be surprised if Keil produces much more compact code. The main goal (at least my goal) is still fixing all bugs.
most honourable, "fat" code is preferable to malfunctioning code.
