#183020 - Now I understand the "Arghmel" thing
Responding to: ???'s previous message
"When the first Arghmel '51s came out (1995) I found a defect in the chip. I told Arghmel, and told my boss we needed another brand. My boss approached Arghmel to return the chips and was told that they could not accept returns based on findings of an incompetent person. I lost my job, because I could not make this faultless (they believed Arghmel) chip work, and, lo and behold, a few revisions later the error I reported appeared in the Arghmel Errata for the chip."

Thank you Erik,

Now I finally know what this "Arghmel" stuff you keep typing is about, and why you dislike Atmel so much. I really had no idea. Have you ever told us this before?

(Now I wish you would tell us why you hate all compilers and assemblers besides Keil! Is there some similar thing that happened?)
