#182287 - yes and no
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Can I assume that this board and ISP programmer would support all 40-pin 8051 and 8052 series?
ABSOLUTELY NOT

#15 says it supports all 8051 series
a blatant lie

I'm interested in using projects that program the 8051 and the 8052 - and I know that they are very similar.
the "very similar" chips of the '51 family differ wildly in programming, "very similar" is a total misnomer in this respect.
Since you are interested in ISP, here are some notes:
All current NXP ISP chips I know of program (for the very small ones [LPC90x - LPC92x] through a 'bridge') via the UART
For Arghmel, you have some SPI via a dongle, some UART and some USB (I do not know the USB details)
For SILabs all are USB via a dongle
Dallas (Maxim) have some, I do not know the details
Otheres - I'll leave it to you to find out
