Hello again,
The documentation for C8051F120 says the following:

Voltage on any Port I/O Pin or RST with Respect to DGND –0.3V(MIN) 5.8V(MAXIMUM)

Now, can't i run the 5V LCD with these pins or i have to use an external 5V power source ?, or am i missing something ?
