...tried examples such as blinky, watchdog etc and i have also read the documentation, mainly port I/O, crossbar functions etc.

However, the chief concern remains regarding the circuit design, which implies that first i should at least be able to draw out the connections with the appropriate components between lcd and the kit, and then develop the interface.

I started a thread earlier too, and have been trying to learn all that however, it's taking time !
