That sounds a good idea.

It appears that quite a few posters never bother to return to check for replies to their post.

I guess that many of them "broadcast" their question to other forums, then either forget or just don't bother to check this one?

It is certainly quite common for other forums to have a "notify me when someone replies" feature - perhaps they just assume that this one would do the same, and that no notification means no replies?

And, of course, some do specifically request to be emailed...
