The main 8052.com forum is supposed to be exclusively for posts about, or directly related to, an 8051/52 or derivative. Where there is no obvious connection to an 8051/52 (or derivative), such posts are likely to get "Off-Topic" votes - and quite rightly & justifiably, IMO!

If a Moderator moves such a thread to the "General Chat" forum, the votes go with it - even though the "Off-Topic" is incorrect in that forum!

I think there needs to be a mechanism to remove "Off-Topic" votes when they are negated by moving the thread...
