The black text is readable. The contrast is a bit lower when the menu choices are high-lighted but it is more important that they are readable in non-highlighted mode.

Not 100% sure what you mean with
. The "Post Message" and "PReview Before Posting" option will not be modified. Can someone tell if the "jittering" of the message window you see in IE7 is now fixed?

Both "Post Message" and "Preview Before Posting" are now shown all the time, and there is no jittering of the page layout when adding new text.
