#160525 - Preview before post Responding to: ???'s previous message |

I think that last sentence also supports why it should never be possible to 'Post' before a 'Preview' has been done!
If there is only one button, there can be no confusion! This was the behavior of the forum originally but people reported that IE would do some kind of jittering weird thing where their message editor window would move around as the "Post" button was disabled. I'd prefer to have the site only display the preview button when any change has been made so that a preview is required--when the preview is displayed, the "Post" button would also be available. But if they made ANY change to the window the "Post" button would disappear. Again, this was the original way I had it implemented but IE is a pain in the neck. If I could at least reproduce this in IE here I'd have a chance at fixing it but for the time being I just got rid of he enforced-preview so that people wouldn't have to deal with the jittery edit window.
