It's been several years since I last had boards made here. Since we have had such good results in the PRC, there's no reason to pay more for what always has turned out to be less. I would be totally stupid to use U.S. houses with their track record.
Even the houses that make "standard" adapters for BGA's don't seem to "have their ducks in a row." They advertise stuff they don't have, and then, when you place an order, tell you it will be on the order of six weeks. Board layout for such adapters takes an hour or so, and we get 'em built in a lot less time than six weeks, and that way we get 'em just the way we want. RE |
