I'd be interested in seeing a manufacturer's datasheet that refers to an EEPROM as an EPROM, though. I'll be that's not as easy to find. It's putting a fine point on things, certainly, but isn't that what engineering is about? If EPROM is now a generic term, how's one to interpret whether it's an EPROM, EEPROM, FLASH, SEEPROM, NVRAM, FRAM, MRAM, or whatever? RE |
