EEPROM doesn't just imply that the memory is electrically eraseable. It is the actual definition of the EEPROM term.
An important thing with implications and equvalence. You can not reverse an implication arrow unless there is an equivalence. EEPROM implies EPROM. But EPROM does not imply OTP or UV-eraseable. It is just common that EPROM means a UV-eraseable memory. |
