No: EPROM is the general term; UV-EPROM and EEPROM are specific types of EPROM.

UV-EPROM and EEPROM are distinct subsets of EPROM.

You would certainly not be alone in assuming that "EPROM" without further qualification can be taken to mean "UV-EPROM" - but it is not certain (pretty likely, I agree, but not certain)
