Yes, it appears, that writing an UART-based bootloader for the 'LP5x would be possible. But my point was, that none such is pre-programmed by the manufacturer, thus you need some "primary" programmer to program the bootloader anyway
I have written "UART bootloaders" for many chips where "some "primary" programmer" was needed "to program the bootloader". The usual purpose of an "UART bootloader" is to have a vehicle for end users to upgrade their software. Erik |
