#185860 - Always give full part numbers!

I can't program my 89LP52.

You mean AT89LP52?

http://www.atmel.com/devices/AT89LP52.aspx

It's important to give the full part number - so that people know what you're talking about!

I've tried it with my programmer, chinese ebay STK500, works absolutely perfect with the 89S52, 51.

Does it claim to work with the 89LP52?
With programmers, ff they don't specifically state that they will program a particular device, then the chances are that they won't.

too bad AVRStudio didn't include the 89 atmel series, 89S51,2 as well as the 89LP52

The clue is in the name: AVRStudio; The 89S51,2 & 89LP52 are not AVRs - are they?!

I cannot find one programmer anywhere on the internet that even mentions the 89LP52.

The Atmel website gives programming details!

Does anybody out there know how I can program the 89LP52?

Yes!
Atmel, on the product page for the AT89LP52, has a section on Tools - including programming:

http://www.atmel.com/devices/A...?tab=tools

Hasn't anyone else ever run into this problem?

It's quite a new device, and early-availability of Atmel parts is notorious - so quite possibly not!

Where did you obtain your device? Have you sought support from them?
