#185858 - 89LP52
Hello,
I can't program my 89LP52. I've tried it with my programmer, chinese ebay STK500, works absolutely perfect with the 89S52, 51.
I write the asm code with Crimson freeware editor- nice, compile it with A51.exe using dos (A51 test1.asm) then program the hex file, (or obj file), with AvrStudio4 (test.obj). I have an ISP connector wired on my test (synth) board .
It's a beautiful setup, too bad AVRStudio didn't include the 89 atmel series, 89S51,2 as well as the 89LP52 in their software. AVR studio 5 doesn't even list any atmel 89 series. So I can't write and compile with avrstudio4, but I can program the hex file with it.
This all works perfect, but the 89LP52 does 20 mips compared to 1 or 2 for the 89S52. I cannot find one programmer anywhere on the internet that even mentions the 89LP52.
Does anybody out there know how I can program the 89LP52?
Hasn't anyone else ever run into this problem?
R
