Do you have a programmer for the 8755? If No finding one will be hard.
MCS-51 and MCS-48 microcomputers what are these some kind Trainers or Eval boards? You should forget the 8048 finding development tools and documentation will be very hard. And they will all be for DOS. For the MCS-51 you can most likely find a newer 40 DIP and just plug it into the board. If you where just talking about chips for a few dollars a newer chip requires less parts. You do not need a separate EEPROM Programmer. The EEPROM Chips (the ones with a window in the middle) where expensive. So many designs had a separate EEPROM, Plus a latch, and a parallel port to make up for the pins used up by the EEPROM. So while using this old stuff is possible, you need to see if it is practical and cost effective. |
