Sure, although the "very large number of processor pins" is a bit of overstatement (actually, ever cared to have a look at the NAND memories whereabouts, Per?).

However, compared to solderable SD/MMC, which appear to be none available in small quantities, this is apparently an acceptable price... ;-)
