In my case, the solderability wouldn't be a problem. The potential board already has a 256 ball chip on it. Currently the board is using an internal CF socket and the factory fits a CF card for shipments where the customer needs larger storage. If no CF is needed, the product uses a now obsolete and quite expensive 16MB parallel flash chip. |
