Isn't this illegal, by the way?

I can buy Amber LEDs
at a certain price and get variations in the color,
or I can pay some more and get them in marked batches of the same color
or I can pay an awful lot and get them all in the same color.

This is known practice and nobody is upset or consider it 'illegal'.
