#123451 - it's already a pain...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
... there are two solder jumps... And the supplier turned all electrolythics the other way in one batch, discovered after several of them shot around our heads, imagine the joy of changing 300 electrolytics, while the delivery deadline was yesterday, the driver was walking in each 5 minutes to ask if we are already ready...

I think we will simply have a look at some regulator with guaranteed tighter tolerance... And add that cap across the supervisor (I will call it Erik's cap, may I?)

         for decades, 5% was "standard." What's changed?            01/01/70 00:00
What standard do you mean??            01/01/70 00:00

         Check it with a >5.0V outputting 7805!            01/01/70 00:00
            it will work...            01/01/70 00:00
               oh 'testing'            01/01/70 00:00

               I would use a resistor instead of a diode            01/01/70 00:00
see the datasheet, it shows how to do that...            01/01/70 00:00
                     It's noise, I guess...            01/01/70 00:00
