... if the regulators are slightly off at room temperature, they might get completely off when baked or frozen, right? The I could throw them at the head of the supplier (I am still convinced they ARE rejects).

Anybody has an experience, how do 78xx behave under different temperature conditions? Shall I bake them or freeze to get their output low?
