the answers put forth by senior members sound just like old wine in new bottle, nothing new,... For someone who demonstrated his helplessness so much http://www.8052.com/forum/read/175311 you are kind of shameless! Kai Klaas The above post shows my simulation shots, in which i have compared/evaluated 3 options of using direct ZCD, the first option is from AVR appnote, second option shows my own modification to give falling edge pulses at each Zero crossing, third using a Zener was idea of Stefan/Erik. @ Erik, what is the point of suggesting the same solution which is already been published in several Appnotes ? Ironically, this Thread began with reference to an Appnote(of AVR) and the members raised their voice in tandem saying not to trust the Appnotes but the "final solution" suggested to me came from an another Appnote(of NXP). On one hand the member/s say "do not trust your Appnote" but trust the appnote "i gave" Now, would you still call me shameless, Kai klass ? I already have found a solution for my problem and am happy that it is not from any appnote or suggestions given by the senior members. Regards, Arun |
