Keil's Paramatric search - see the link Per gave - certainly has more than just UARTs!

what does this means, it is ok to use usart instead of uart for rs232 communication?

UART = Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transmitter

USART = Universal Synchronous and Asynchronous Receiver and Transmitter

The clue is in the names...
