Low-cost USB modems don't have on-chip DSP, which is required for filtering, modulation/demodulation, encoding/decoding, and protocol handling. The DSP function is placed on its dedicated device driver on PC. Usually, no such a device driver for micro-controllers/ DSP chip is available from the modem chip vendors. Also, no information about the protocol over USB.
Then, the feasibility is uncertain. Any decent developer won't consider on such a solution. Tsuneo |
