#97886 - I do Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I admit frankly, I am happy when receiving a + and feel upset receiving a -. It has an emotional value, no doubt, for some more, for other less. When I first saw the points, I was surprised mainly by their anonymity. So, Craig, if you really want to spend less time doing what you like to do, make the scoring traceable, and require the scorers to comment/justify (I don't know the proper english word) their decision (this might reduce abuse). I also agree with Prahlad, assigning points to names has unnecessary emotional qualities, too. But you can as well leave it as it is - there are always some unsatisfied individuals in each systems. And, do you realize this thread deserves a "-1 Off Topic", too? :-) Jan Waclawek |
