As an additional comment, there is at least one person (and maybe a couple) that have suggested over the years that certain 8052.com members are part of an "old boys network" and that members of this group are supposedly given special treatment or have some huge influence on me and how the site is run. I've said time and time again that this is not the case yet the accusation is brought up again and again.

I hope that if anything positive can be derived from Michael's departure it is that these people now have proof that no such "special group" exists.

Michael is definitely one of the people who I most respect and if there were people here that could influence the way I run 8052.com by threatening to leave, Michael would be one of those people. And I'm pretty sure that if I had opened the thread he wanted open, he would've stayed. But despite the fact that I respected and continue to respect him emmensely and despite the fact that I did not want him to leave, he received no special treatment and we did not change the way 8052.com is run just because he said so.

So hopefully we can at least put that complaint behind us since I believe recent events have pretty much debunked that accusation.
