I just posted a question to that forum to try to find out why some folks are set on a path to try to integrate their own ARM tool chain instead of simply using the TI CCS tool chain.

My understanding so far is that the TI CCS is free as long as you are developing for Stellaris family parts and are debugging with the TI USB debug pod or with the LaunchPad OCDI debug circuit.

What if anything am I missing?
