#189089 - That was a contributing factor in my decision to buy
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Since Code Composer was a "real", as opposed to "demo" tool set, I thought I'd investigate further. The four boxes are still sitting behind my seat, though, as I'm now spending a little time, as available, finding a suitable ARM development platform. I'd really like to use an integrated environment for debugging, though, and it doesn't appear that's readily availble for this series of ARM, at least under LINUX. I expect someone will whittle one up ... eventually.

I believe I mentioned that a colleague has LINUX running on a "Raspberry Pi" board, using a PC terminal and both an SD card and a USB-interfaced SATA drive. I'm looking for something just a bit more "developed", though it may cost more. I'd like it to have a keyboard in- and VGA output, a bit more than the RPi's 512K of RAM, and still have some uncommitted I/O's remaining. There may not be such a thing available. The RPi is cheap enough that one can "risk it".
