The common problem here in the U.S. is that promoting an argument with insufficient evidence requires that one have an "enemy."

Americans don't react to a threat until it becomes immediate. That's why they won't react to the global climate change brought about by excessive use of fossil fuels until it's too late to save humanity. I personally think that's part the greater plan, i.e. that it's a vehicle for eliminating the human race so the planet can be brought back into balance. Once that's done, what beliefs they held will be moot.
