I had disappointment today, I thought I can mill very small footprint for the HMC5883L digital compass, single sided board, but I couldn't do it, I tried 3 times, in the three times all the pads and tracks are gone.
Looks like I want to run before I can walk.
I have to add the probe to my machine so that I reference the z axis correctly, because the depth is very important for fine tracks. I'm also not sure of the diameter of my engraving bits.

Can you tell me more about the 2 point registration system?
If I want to flip the board, the 2 holes must be exactly in the middle of both sides of the board right? otherwise I need to calculate the offset to compensate for it?
