There's one more thing I didn't mention. If you use the conductive epoxy to "plate" your through holes, you must undserstand that the board will never be anything but a prototype. It's NOT going to be acceptable for production or to sell as a finished product. The epoxy barrels are far too fragile. In fact, if you have to rework a board with epoxy through holes, you will almost certainly strip the barrel out of the hole. So if you're planning on selling your boards, as anything other than prototypes for testing only, you really need to go ahead and set up to do proper electroplating. Joe |
